I was in a relationship for six years. It did had it's moments and it's sad bits too, until it reached a point we had to go our separate ways. I have always been a bit of a romantic. I believe in true love, and taught my ex partner was the one until we were no longer together. It took me two years to recover from the break up and decided to get on with my life. I did not have the courage to start dating men. I knew I was ready to be in another relationship but did not know where to begin or how to go about it. So I decided to try the online dating. I joined one a month later, met some interesting men on a dating men web site. But there was one who particularly I connected with very much. So he became the one I decided to reply and chat with more often. I went to the online dating men with both eyes wide open and knew whatI was looking for. It happened he too had gone through similar experience and also wanted the same thingIwas looking for. We kept emailing each other for six months by then we both knew we wanted more than friendship. So we kept the email going got to know more about each other and also send pictures to know what the other look like. Our friendship grew from strength to strength and through that whole year we began to fall in love. On 30 November, by then it had been a year and one month, he flew from Sweden to see me. I remember how nervous I was, wondering if he will approve of me. As in his picture he was very cute. It felt natural the minute I saw him at the airport. We had a lovely time together, he was such a gentleman. I felt really confident and very beautiful in his company. We spoke a lot and wasvery open and honest about everything including our previous relationship. Our courting went on for another year, through that I got to meet his parents and brother and he also got to know my family. We got married four months later. I never taught I will meet anyone so special like my husband through online dating men web site. We have been married for five years and still fall in love with each other every day. We spend our time both in London and Sweden which we both love.

Some guys like dating women just for the sex, but some men like dating women because they like the companionship over the sex. There are all sorts of different men and women out in the world, with all sorts of different types of personalities. That is why I think using the Internet to find different online dating sites is good. Sure, there are the traditional ways of dating, like going out to bars and nightclubs. These are ways to find men and women. But now we have more options, thanks to the Internet.

I really don't prefer dating websites due to some personal reasons. Most of my friends who used to date online via dating websites found out that the person with whom they use to chat turned out to be a male or gay which is really annoying in my opinion. I am not blaming any of those dating websites because it's not their fault and the dating websites cannot really know who is a facade and who is true behind their profile.
