One of the toughest ways to meet people is through dating websites. Don't get me wrong; some people have the greatest of luck with these sites. Other people, like myself, find themselves missing the passion that comes from meeting someone in person. There's no way to see what they're really feeling or if they're even who they say they are. My own personal opinion is to chat online but not date. If a connection is there, I would meet them in person to discuss where to take the relationship next.

My first boyfriend and I met this way. It wasn't a dating website though; it was an online MMORPG. There was little passion between us or even an idea of a relationship. Over a course of a few months, however, we talked about meeting. There was a mall nearby his house and my college, and the bus that left from my college could easily take me right there. So, we set a date, and I headed out to meet him.

I didn't dress too fashionable or anything. I dressed nice, but I didn't dress flashy. It was comfortable. When I first saw him, I immediately felt a connection. He was cute; he looked like a cuddle bear. I knew I immediately wanted to pursue more of a relationship with him. He wanted the same, and before we had left the mall, he asked me. I can still remember his words: "So... do you want to maybe take a chance on me?"

The first embrace we ever shared was on November 24th, Thanksgiving Day of 2008. Only three days after we got together, he was able to join my family and I to our annual Thanksgiving Knott's Berry Farm Trip. It was a small hug between the two of us, but I could tell in that hug just how much he would want to cuddle later when the passion in our relationship had grown. For now, we were new to all of this, and we held hands like two shy 13-year-olds. His only relationships had ever been online; mine had only ever been at the young age of five.

Our relationship only continued from there. On December 18th, he celebrated an early Christmas with us at Disneyland. It was on that day that we shared our first kiss. That one special moment led me to believe that I would end up falling in love with him. And just around Christmas Day, I finally said the words to him. We got to see each other again on December 30th to spend New Year's Eve together. It was at this time our relationship took a far more passionate turn, and we entered into a lover's closest embrace.

We were both new to the sex act itself, but we knew what we wanted. It took some time to actually complete the act, and I taught him to cuddle me afterward. From then on, we couldn't help ourselves. We couldn't keep our hands off of each other. Every time we saw each other, we had to rejoin again in that lover's embrace. It was worth it every time.
