I clicked on it and when it finally popped up there it was a dating free website just for singles looking for singles. Why not I thought can't be as bad as the first date I had with Tony. That was a disastrous first date. I guess everyone has had a first date with someone and they have nerves and problems going in, but this wasthe kiss of death for a couple. His ex-girlfriend shows up at the movie and causes all sorts of problems for us and I guess she knew his routine for she was also at the restaurant he liked to take his dates. Of course she didn't get enough at the movie theater; she came back at us for more there. Finally taking his sweet apple pie she dumped it in his lap and walked away. With that and a kiss good bye not a kiss good night, we left each other alone. I never wanted to get home so bad from a date in my life.

The next day he called and was trying to explain what we went through. I guess it wasn't this guys fault and he is sweet and all, but I never got a call back from him. I guess it was just too humiliating for him to get over and ask me out again.

While I was looking through the many different IDs after registering on this dating free website, I noticed a nickname Tony had told me he was called. I typed in this ID and casually asked if it was the Tony I know and mentioned the date we had. Thinking what could it hurt to find out right away and then I wouldn't be questioning if it was him all the time.

A couple of days later he sent me an email and told me it was indeed him and asked me if I had recovered from our date. I laughed so hard, what a small world it truly is. We have had three more dates now and everything between us is great. This just goes to show we should never give up!
