The Late Zone

I wonder why they're people out there who don't like dating free agents, even if said free agent is as adorable as hell. If you're single, you're not on their agenda. But if you're in a relationship - married or not - they're keen to hook up with you. You become adorable, irresistible in their eyes. Maybe it's the drama - you know, like some women that only ever go for married men. Some people do thrive on drama. When they find a real good person who's single and available, they don't wanna know. Maybe it's a self-esteem thing. Maybe stuff happened to them in their childhood - parents splitting up, dad/mum cheating, etc. Maybe that's all they know. On the other hand, you get some people that think they don't deserve to be in a loving, adorable relationship where the person is 100% emotionally available. Then there are others who thrive on danger, the buzz of it all, of possibly being caught out by the wife.And then you get some people who have affairs that truly fall in love with the people they're having the affair with. They leave their husband/wife. Sometimes, it lasts. Sometimes, it doesn't. But, regardless, I don't know how I'd feel if someone left their Wife for me. I don't think I'd ever feel secure 'cos if they can leave their wives, then they can leave me. If they can cheat on their husband, then they can cheat on me. I just wouldn't be able to trust him/her. Plus if they ever really did cheat on me, can I really hold them responsible? Surely, I'd be a hypocrite if I did that 'cos it's something they did before when they walked away from their marriage for me. It would be Karma's way of kicking me up the butt.I don't think affairs are worth it. The pain that it can Hold is much sharper than the pleasure, particularly where children are involved. I've personally seen what it can do. But, I guess we wouldn't be human if we didn't tap into the light and the dark we all hold within us.
