The Late Zone

When I was younger I wasn't really into boys so didn't do much Dating I was far more into school work, then college and university then finally my career, time sort of passed me by and then my friends started joking that i was going to be left on the shelf and be an old woman surrounded by cats, i hated that thought but didn't know what to do about it.

Since having not been on the dating scene i never knew how to behave around guys when i found them attractive never really dating at all ok well i had had the odd drunken moment or two with guys when i was at university but i had never spoke to them when i was sober unless it was about work or something on an intellectual level.

My friends decided to set me up on a blind date, i was so nervous it went well we had a few things in common but i wasnt physically attracted to him, the next guy they sent me out on a Blind date with well it was awful i found out within the first couple of minutes he was into the swingers scene and was looking for a lady to join him and go to swingers clubs and have sex with other people well i couldn't get out of the restaurant quick enough, i made an excuse of a migraine and left.

The next blind date they set me up with i told them if he wasn't the one then i wasn't going on anymore the last one had really put me off them and i wasn't sure i even wanted to go on this one but i did which was a good job to.

The man who was to be my future husband arrived just at the same time as me at the restaurant he even opened the door for me it wasn't till we sat down at the bar that we realised we were meeting each other, from the moment i looked into his eyes i knew he was the one this man was going to be my husband and i was right 20 years later he is still my husband and will be till the day i die.
